Jal Shakti Abhiyan

A special assembly was conducted on “Jal Shakti Abhiyan” a water conservation campaign on 15 July 2019 in the school premises by the Eco club members of classes 9 and 10. The programme began with the Morning Prayer followed by information on the need of conserving water in the society. A speech was delivered on the same, creating awareness among the students. A skit was also presented by a group of students on the need of conserving water. An important method of conserving water i.e. rainwater harvesting was also explained to the students and they learnt how rain water is stored for future use. The display board was decorated beautifully with posters prepared by the students. The assembly ended on a positive note.
