• Ujjwal Sharma of class X received the Certificate of Merit for outstanding performance and obtaining Grade A1 in all the five subjects in the Secondary School Examination 2013.

• ViplavSethia was awarded with certificate of merit by CBSE for his outstanding academic performance and for being among the top 0.1% in physics, in class XII board examination 2013.

• Kiran Gaur of class 9 from our school has been selected under the 3rd Girl Child Scholarship scheme by Science Olympiad Foundation and received a scholarship of Rs. 5000/-

• Shivans Singh of class XI acquired first position in the class, secured second state rank, and achieved Third International rank in International Informatics Olympiad.

• RitikaMallik of class VII achieved 20 rank in Delhi Zone in the SOF Olympiad.

Sports Awards

Megha Pandita of class V C won Third position in High Jump at Wg.Cor.T. Mathew Inter School Athletic meet held at St. Mary's School on 13 December 2013.

Prakriti Joshi of class X C, Srishti Khandelwal of class X B, Siddhant Singh Parmar of class VIII A, Shrishti Sejwal of class VII B secured First Position, Pragya Prakash of class X A secured Second position and Ifrez Alam of class VIII A won Third Position in Skating Championship held at Summer Fields School, Kailash Colony on 29 November 2013.

Shrishti Sejwal of class VII B secured Second Position in Skating Championship held at R.K.Puram Sector 9 on 23 November 2013.

Shrishti Sejwal of class VII B secured Second Position in Long Jump at athletics meet held at YMCA Delhi.

• Priyansh Nagpal won 2nd position in District Badminton Championship 2013 organised by south Delhi District Badminton Association. He scored 2nd position in IIT Badminton championship organised by IIT Campus. He also won 2nd position in Marathon race organised by IIT Freedom Run 2013.

• Arko Chatterjee won Gold medal and scored 1st position in individual Kata “9th All India Independence Cup Karate Do Championship” in Aug 2013.He also won Silver medal in National Karate Championship 2013 & selected for 8th Junior & Cadet World Karate Championship in Spain to be held in November 2013.

• On 1st august, Mount Carmel school conducted the Basketball Zonals for the following categories:
Seniors, Junior’s and sub juniors (Boys & Girls) from classes 6th - 12th.
Many schools participated.
 In sub juniors: Boys secured Second position and Girls Secured Third position.
 In juniors: Boys secured Second position and Girls secured Third position.
 In seniors: Boys secured Third position.

• Inter house football tournament was conducted at the school ground on 25th and 29th July for both senior and junior boys.
1) Pratap house scored the First position in the senior category
2) Ashoka house scored the First position in the junior category

• On 16 July St. Paul’s School organized its 3rd Volley Ball Tournament. The participants were:

4) Vidya Niketan School

• Deven Kumar Mohanty won Third prize in Kata event of subjunior boys category in 3rd SSKI Asia Cup Karate Championship organised by Shito Ryu Seiko Kai Karate Do India.

• Deven Kumar Mohanty won Gold Medal in Individual and Team Kata events in sub junior boys category in International Karate Championships 2012 organised by San-Shin-Kan Karate International.

Co-Curricular Awards

• Arijit Roy of class VB has won the Third Best Award for Hindustani Classical music for Bal Kala Utsav 2013 organised by Society for the upliftment of National Arts of India among 18 states and 800 students.

• K.R. Mukund of class XII A was awarded Rs.5000/- under the Inspire Award scheme, initiated by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India. As part of this he took part in the Delhi State Level Exhibition and project Competition held on 6 and 7 August 2013 at Tyagaraja sports complex, New Delhi, where he displayed a model of an Unmanned Spraying Flying Machine.

• Smriti Gupta of class XI was declared First runner up at Delhi level debate competition hosted by National Regional Council of ICAI.

• Anushka Tiwari of class V C won the third position for swarachit kavita lekhan organized by the Father Agnel School on 29 August 2013.

• Nevin Joseph of class VI C, Fahad Nazmi of class VI B, Nitish G. Saji of class VI A and Naman Sahai of class VI A won the first position for relay race ( maths ) organized by Kalka Public School on 29 July 2013.

• Smriti Gupta of class XI A won the second position for Inspiring speeches competition conducted by Green Fields School on 4 September.

• Sidharth Rawat of class XII A and Arush Hartit of class XII A won second position in Metallica 2013 organised by IIM and also received a cash prize of Rs. 3000 each.

• Supriya of class X A won third position for Shloka Chanting competition organized by Green Fields School on 4 September 2013.

• Sreeparna of class 7 C won first position for Different Strokes ( poster making ) competition conducted by Green Fields School on 4 September 2013.

• Kshitiz Dutt of class X C and Aditya Kanodia of class X C won second position in Weave -a- Web competition organized by Green Fields School.

• Athuliya Paul of class X A and Aditya Kanodia of class X C secured the first position for the Riff – Raff event organized ST. Mary’s School on 7 August 2013.

• Nandani Nanda of class VI A and Mehak of class VI A won the first position for paper bag making competition organized by The Waulden School on 6 August 2013, they were awarded a certificate, a sapling, an umbrella and a cash prize of Rs. 250 each

• Mansi Vijay of class VIII C and Vaishnavi M. Sundaram of class VIII B won the first position for Dress making competition organized by The Waulden School on 6 August 2013, they were awarded with a certificate, a sapling, an umbrella and a cash prize of Rs. 250.

• Shubham of class IX B has secured the third position in the tattoo making (glass painting) competition organized by Ambience Public School on 2 August 2013.

• Aman S. Masih of class XI D and Shubham Singh of class XI A won the first position for Digital Collage Making competition organized by the Ambience Public School on 2 August 2013.

• Mohit Puri of class XI A won the third prize for power point presentation and Tissy Annie Thomas of class XI B won the second prize for interjection in the News Watch competition organized by Red Roses Public School on 31 July 2013.

• Ojaswi Biswas of class XI D and Swati Sheemar of class XII A have won the Second prize in pryotechnique competition organized by the Kalka Public School on29 July 2013.

• Smriti Gupta of class XI A won the Best Speaker Award in the Debate competiton organized by Kalka Public School on 29 July 2013, M. Christina Vasanth of class XI A, Anisha Stephen of class XI D and Smriti Gupta of class XI A won the Second position as a team for the same.

• Grace of class X B and Aswaty of class X B got appreciation certificate for the fabric painting (Tribal Art) competition organized by Kalka Public School on 29 July.

• M. Christina Vasanth of class XI A, Mohit Puri of class XI A, Kunal Arya of class XI A, Christo Samuel of class XI A, Akhila of class X C, Prakriti of class X C , Vani Juniyal of class X C, Shreya of class X C, Shalem of class X A and Dhriti of class X C won the Third prize for the Dramatics – An exerpt from Shakespeare’s Plays organized by the Faith Academy on 22 July 2013, Christo Samuel of class XI A won the Best Actor Award.

• Tanishka of class VII A secured second position in the calligraphy competition organized by the Faith Academy on 22 July.

• Arushi Sharma of class XII B, HImanshi Arya ,Titiksha Gupta of class XI D, Anaswara Ravi of class XI C, Shriya Chawala of class XI B, Shreya Desai, Pal;ak Chawala of class XI B, Neethu Anna Saji of class XI C and M. Christina Vasanth of class XI A had written the A certificate Exam ( NCC) organized by B Group Head Quarter.

• Vaidehi of class II D won Second Prize in Fancy dress inter school competition organised by St. Anthony's Sr. Sec. school on 26 April 2013.

• Deboshmita of class V C won Second prize in Painting Competition organised by Red Roses Public School on 26 April 2013.
