Reverberations SPS 2017-18 (Day 1)

St. Paul’s school organized its annual Inter School Mathematics and science Festival ‘Reverberations 2017’ from the 21st July 2017 to 22nd July 2017 for the students of classes VI to XII. In all, 25 schools participated from Delhi and NCR region. The celebration gave an opportunity to the participants to showcase their talent in the fields of Math and Science.
A multitude of events were organized on both the days and participants won the hearts of the audience with their magnificent performances.
An INSA Emeritus Scientist Prof. H Y Mohan Ram was the Chief Guest on the Inaugural Day of the celebration. He, with his profound experience in the field of Science, gave a thought provoking speech encouraging the students to excel in every field of life. The second day was graced by the presence of Prof. Dr. Hukum Singh, who with his manifold contribution in the field of Mathematics, enlightened the participants with his words of wisdom.
A plethora of competitions namely, Extempore, Skit, Quiz, Debate, Tangram, Poster-making and Slogan Writing were held with the sole aim of illuminating the minds of the young ones.
There was active and joyous participation from the host and the guest schools. St. Paul’s School emerged as winner for the Math Skit and Science Quiz competitions, St. George’s School for Poster making, Navy Children School for Extempore, Vasant Valley School for Debate and Springdales for Tangram Competition.
The other dignitaries that formed the panel of judges are epitome in their respective fields namely Ms. Manjari Singal, Mr. Pushpendra, Mr. Aneesh, Mr. Amit Bajaj, Mr. Sanjay Tahiliani, Ms. Leena Stanley, Ms. Jyotsana Joshi, Mr. Sagnik Dey and Mr. Arun Kumar H G.
‘Reverberations 2017’ promoted curiosity, exploration and excitement amongst the children and it was truly a fun filled learning experience where participants left no stone unturned in making the event highly competitive.
